We have recently had the pleasure of working on this Grand Cherokee. The owner came to us looking for a simple solution to increase the power produced from the 3.0l diesel engine under the bonnet as he felt it was underpowered compared to the size of the vehicle.
After a full diagnostics session to confirm the engine was in a safe, fully working order, we continued to apply our popular custom “blend map” to the vehicles ECU. With the new ECU software applied we saw gains of 45hp and 60nm of torque! As well as the extra power the vehicle now benefits from an increase in fuel economy under normal driving conditions.
Our customer was extremely pleased with the instant difference he felt in his vehicle.
