We’ve recently had the pleasure of working on this 2018 VW Transporter. This van is powered by a 2.0TDI engine producing 101bhp and 250nm of torque from the factory.
These 2.0 lumps come with many different power outputs from the VW dealership, despite them being nearly identical engines. This drastic difference in power is determined by the ECU software VW choose to flash into the vehicle. This means we are able to unleash huge gains from a stage 1 remap because the vehicle is detuned.
